We are at the Merry Kremas Festival 2014

Last month, I was invited by our friends from Alaska to go and join the fun at Eastwood City for the Merry Kremas Festival 2014. I immediately signed up when I learned that it’s a food festival. Yum!

Alaska’s Merry Kremas Festival was held at the Eastwood City open grounds. This is their second year if I’m not mistaken. Basically, it’s a food festival with different food stalls that you can check out and try some of the food they offer. So basically, pinagsama sama nila lahat ng mga food businesses and you could try them all out. Ang saya diba?

The great thing about this event is that it’s free. All you have to do is sign up on the registration area. No wonder ang haba ng pila when we arrived.

This huge Alaska Kremas christmas tree greeted us when we entered the event. Upon signing up, you’ll be given a passport (your passport to lotsa food tasting) and a loot bag. We are checking out our passport and thinking which way to go first.

Ang daming food stalls!! And all of them prepared something for us to try. You can also buy from them agad agad if you liked what you tasted. Oh diba bongga?!

There are so many food to choose from! Lotsa sweets definitely but there are wines, soups, bbq, chips, popcorn, pasta and even salted eggs! We munched on everything and tried them all. Lahat super okay. Halos lahat masasarap. I specifically liked those unique foods like kisstachio (kisses and pistachio), the salted eggs, the mango crème and Carmelita brownies.

This is a Lechon Cake. Ang cute ano? Grabe tingin ng bagets sa lechon. :) Gusto pa ata agawan ng apple yung lechon.

This is the booth na binabalik-balikan namin. Can you guess why? Na kahit na hindi naman kami nauuhaw eh bili kami ng bili ng iced tea at ng isaw nila? Nyahahaha! Ang pogi ni Kuya. :-P And if you’re wondering, nope! Hind syasi Kuya Pao. Pero kuya nya si Pao. Hahaha!

Aside from the food booths, there are also a game area and a kid activity area. Pwede mo siguro iwan dito si baby and the yaya while you roam around and try stuff. Very good!

There’s also a photobooth! I borrowed this mum-daughter Minnie headband from the photobooth. Nyahahaha! Adorbs!

There’s also a mini program at the event. The opening number was from Hail Mary The Queen Children’s Choir. These kids are amazing. I heard they also performed for Pope Francis. No wonder. They are really good. They sang a bunch of Christmas songs which definitely made the festival more festive. Galing!

We we’re supposed to leave early. Eat and run sana. Kaso they announced that the program in the afternoon will be hosted by my favorite DJs – Chico and Delamar!! So I definitely had to see them. Ang payat na ni Chico grabe. And Delle’s soooo blooming.

All in all it was a super fun event. We definitely enjoyed loads. I would love to go again on December. This event is great for start up businesses and those who wants their products to be exposed to people. Ang saya lang talaga.
