I know it’s a cliché, but now that I’m a mother, I realized how true this phrase is – Mothers ALWAYS know best. We are not called as “Ilaw ng Tahanan” for nothing. We give light to our homes and we guide them. We make sure they are well protected. That they are happy. That they are always on the brighter side of life.

Most of the time we take on too many roles – doctor, nurse, cook, teacher, minsan pati janitor at waitress keri na natin. Everything. We’ll do everything for our family. And if you are a mum like me, I know you’d definitely agree. O kahit hindi mum, if you are a daughter or a son, I am pretty sure you’d agree.

And part of being a mum is making sure that we use products and brands of excellent quality. We always want the best for our family right? Last month, I shared with you every thing about Taiwan Excellence on this blog post.

How this campaign organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of Taiwan (BOFT), and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) are helping us Filipinos, and now us mothers, in choosing the best high quality Taiwan-made products and brands. It is the symbol of quality that guarantees the superior value of Taiwanese lifestyle brands. We even joined their Christmas contest which I shared on this blog post. Sayang lang I didn’t win. Akala ko talaga, I’d finally meet Iya Villania-Arellano – Taiwan Excellence’s celebrity endorser. Kaso waley! Lose Valdez ang lola nyo.

Anyway, thru Taiwan Excellence I was able to get familiar with the different high quality brands from Taiwan. To date, the campaign carries 56 different brands for home and living, sports, transportation, and personal care. For the home, there are water ionizers, home appliances, cookware, bathroom and sanitary ware products from brand like HCG, Tatung, TECO and Cashido. For electronic needs, there are laptops, USBs, routers from Acer, ASUS, Transcend, MSI. To keep the family healthy, the campaign carries brands that offer foldable bikes, fitness gear and health care products such as Strida, Microlife, and Thermedic.

Because of Taiwan Excellence and their wonderful Seal of Quality, choosing the right products for my family is now a lot easier. Because I am assured of the high quality products, I know that I only give the best for my family. And more than that, I know that the tools I use to love and care for my family are of high quality too. Alangan naman sila lang diba? Like this Acer laptop I am using for blogging – this is my best friend, my assistant, my tool for being a mother. And I am confident that this brand won’t fail me because it has that Seal of Quality from Taiwan Excellence.
