Sinking Bell Tower (Laoag City, Ilocos Norte)

I’m back!! A sensible blog post now. Complete with photos and everything. Back to regular programming I hope? :)

Anyway, allow me to continue with my Ilocos adventure posts as I am dying to start with my Camiguin-Bukidnon-CDO adventure. My 3-day stint in Mindanao is such a memorable one. Haggardo Versoza ang peg namin but we all had a great time!

Anyway, part of our itinerary is the 400 year old bell tower at the heart of Laoag City. It is famous coz its said to be sinking an inch every year because its so heavy and was built on the sandy part of Laoag. It actually looks a bit leaning already. Probably due to the sinking over the years. Though they said it’s still usable. Kumakalembang padin until now.

It took us 2minutes to take all hundred photos. It was scorching hot when we arrived in Laoag and we just parked right across so we did our ninja moves and snap super fast photos. We didn’t stay on the area anymore. We just enjoyed it from afar. No more mandatory jump shots as well. Ang init. Kelangan lang talaga mag picture para masabing nakapunta. Harhar!

No entrance fee is needed to enjoy the majestic bell tower. Kelangan lang mga hapon kayo magpunta para di masyadong mainit. Smile

How’s the weekend so far guys? Tamad padin ako but I’m trying. Bear with me ok la?

Miss you much my dear readers. More kwento laters alligators….

xoxo,

Reigne
