Learning Events for Mums at Medela HouseFriday, January 30, 2015 Press Release,
I’m a neophyte mum. Most of the time, I dunno what to do. So I always make it a point to continuously learn as much as I could on this whole parenting thingy. I’d usually go to google, read books, read forums, join mummy groups and attend seminars or learning sessions. I love attending seminars and learning sessions especially because it’s interactive. I could ask questions, I could listen to other attendees.
Good thing that companies like the Medela Moms Incorporated (MMI) organizes learning events for Mums like me. This weekend, MMI organizes 3 learning events at the Medela House, New Manila QC. Back-to-back learning events for the whole family.
January 31, 2015 (a.m.): Starting Your Preschool Homeschool
I’ve been hearing loads of positive things about homeschooling. Some of my favorite mummy bloggers like May of Fully Housewifed are homeschooling their kids. This made me curious on how to do it and it’s benefits.
Mariel Uyquiengco, parenting advocate and co-owner of The Learning Basket, will be there to help us mums know more about homeschooling. We’ll know the “what” and “why” of homeschooling during the preschool years. Share the different homeschooling options. And help us start homeschooling right away by sharing tips.
For more details on learning fees and the registration process, visit The Learning Basket’s site.
January 31, 2015 (p.m.): The Breastfeeding Club’s Breastfeeding 101 Seminar
All you expecting mums out there or those who wants to know more about breastfeeding or probably having breastfeeding issues are encouraged to attend this seminar. As a breastfeeding advocate I really really encourage you mums to attend to a breastfeeding seminar to know more about breastfeeding. If you are armed with the right information, breastfeeding will be a lot easier.
Breastfeeding 101 will cover the basics of breastfeeding. Abbie Yabot of The Breastfeeding Club, a La Leche League leader and certified lactation counselor will be there to help us mums and dads too!
The fee of P800 is inclusive of participation of both husband and wife to three (3) breastfeeding classes, plus snacks and a breastfeeding manual. To register, please call or text 0917-8110821 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
