Avon Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month Through BOOBwatch


October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! And Avon’s line up of activities for 2020 was a huge success! 

Utilizing the power of technology and the internet - Avon’s campaign BOOBwatch was all done online allowing them to reach to more people and generate awareness at a much grander scale. This year’s events were all for the benefit of the Philippine Cancer Society.

BOOB Talk launched the campaign with an educational talk together with Dr. Gia Sison and Dr. Rachel Rosario of the Philippine Cancer Society. It was viewed by more than 6,200 people!

Of course, a fun and entertaining concert was also on the line up. Shaped for More with Morrisette: The BOOBwatch Fundraising Concert was streamed via Facebook with 5,700 people joining the fun.

Last but not the least, #JoinTheBoobment Manoeuvres Fitness Dance-a-thon was also streamed. Aside from all the popular dance routines of this famous group, they also managed to teach the viewers a quick Tiktok dance tutorial that shows how easy and fast it is to do a breast check by yourself! See? Fun and educational!

Of course, aside from joining these events, we could also help with this cause by purchasing Avon’s special collection - Empower Bra (Avon’s first-ever mastectomy bra), the Breast Cancer Promise Umbrella and Tote Bag Set, and the Evita Watch. For every sale of those items, 50Php would be donated to the Philippine Cancer Society.
