Review: Ocean Jet Fast Ferry

Jerellt told us that our planned 5 days stay in Bohol is kinda long. The city tour would only take us 1 day and another half day for the sea tour. So we won’t be doing anything if we stayed that long and probably would die of boredom. She also suggested that we go to Cebu since it’s just a ferry away from Bohol.
So I immediately consulted Mr. Google to help us find the best ferry to Cebu. After finding out that Ocean Jet has a Libre-Balik promo, I immediately booked for 2 round trip tickets.
Their main office is in Cebu City. However, they have an accredited travel agency here Manila, Fine Travel and Tours.
Booking on them is easy and the people are uber helpful. After settling the amount due and sending the receipt, I immediately got my e-ticket.
Our plane to Tagbilaran was delayed causing us to reach the port at 11:30 AM, our departure time. However, the people of Ocean Jet has been kind enough to wait for us. It was really an Amazing Race adventure. We literally run to the ferry while dragging our heavy maleta. I was wearing my 5-inch wedge that time I tell you! The ship captain was honking at us while we run. And the other crews are waving at us to run faster. Upon reaching the ferry, our maleta was dragged by the port lifter and we went straight to the ferry! haha..
We booked for the Open Sea fare which should be the non-air-conditioned area. However, maybe upon seeing that we were sweating like a pig due to running, we we’re allowed to be seated on the business class section. Haha :-D
The ferry ride was very relaxing. They even offer free Wi-Fi while on board! Wow!
So my verdict? If you want a safe, convenient and easy on the budget ferry ride, check out Ocean Jet. Plus, they have Libre-Balik promo so uber sulit talaga!
