When I got pregnant, I was very conscious of my health and my weight. I always make sure that I eat healthy for the growing baby inside me. And I am always watchful of my weight gain. I need to gain weight ng dahan dahan else it’ll be bad for the baby and I’ll be prone to stretch marks. Ayoko nun. But when I gave birth and lost that 7kilos in 2 weeks, wala na. Stay na ko sa weight na yun. And I never got back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Partida breastfeeding pa ko nyan ah. Hindi ko nga nakuha ang memo na nakakapayat ang breastfeeding.

But I have to admit that it’s because nagpabaya ako. I didn’t do any exercises or at least stretch my muscles – my reason? My CS wound. And I keep on eating because, well because I’m breastfeeding. Nagpabaya talaga ako.

So now that the baby’s a year old, I am running out of excuses. And honestly, I miss my old body. I miss the healthier me. I miss dressing up, I don’t know how to dress up this bigger frame. It’s not me. Though I know that I need to do this whole #balikalindog program right. I need to lose weight, the healthy way. And there’s honestly no other way. I am still breastfeeding the baby. And I am a mother now. I need to take care of myself and make sure I am healthy for my family.

So when I received an invitation from Yummy Diet and Zomato last month for their Yummy Diet Fitness Party, I know I just have to go.

We we’re asked to be on our best active wear as they have prepared lots of activity for us – Aero-G, Zumba and Yoga. I was so excited for this. Sabi ko nga, it seems like the entire universe has conspired. Nagmamakaawa na silang mag-diet ako at igalaw ang mga taba.

Radio DJ Suzy, hosted the party. The moment I got in, I was greeted with an open space. Perfect for our aerobics, zumba and yoga class. There are also some booths from their partner brands and we were able to try them out. Glad that they are there actually. Coz atleast I know which brands to go to for a healthier snack option.

Grabe! The event was really tiring. Aero-G, Zumba and Yoga is no joke. I was not on my active wear though, coz I realized that I don’t own a decent pair of rubber shoes. Kaloka! I need to get myself a pair of trainers. Anyway, here’s a video of our fun activity. Ang saya!

Goldpress Juicing Co.

There’s an overflowing of healthy juice from Goldpress Juicing Co. too. Lots of healthy and yummy juices to choose from. This new joint venture of Yummy Diet and Fruit Magic was launched that night. And we are the lucky ones who got the chance to try it first.

Here are some of the juices served to us that night:
  • Green Machine: Celery, Cucumber, Pineapple, Apple, Spinach
  • Green Glean: Cucumber, Pineapple, Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, Apple
  • Orange Gilt II: Pineapple, Orange, Grapefruit
  • Real Red: Carrot, Red Beet, Lemon, Grapes, Cucumber, Mint
  • Ruby Red: Red Beet, Apple, Watermelon
  • Red Ahead: Carrot, Turnip, Pineapple, Romaine Lettuce, Apple, Orange, Red Beet
My favorite is definitely the Ruby Red and the Green Machine and the Orange Gilt II. Grabe. Very refreshing.


Yummy Diet

And of course, the event won’t be complete if without the Yummy Diet food. They served this buffet-style so we were able to eat as much as we want. It’s so yummy though that it’s not hard to really eat lotsa.

Grabe! I love shrimps in general but I never thought that it’s only 76 calories per serving. May orange dipping sauce pa yun. And oh my. This dish is really perfect. I love the grated coconut that coats the shrimp and the orange dipping sauce is just yummy. It goes perfectly well with the shrimp.

This chicken caesar wrap is so filling. The dip just gave this dish an extra oomph. The chicken was grilled to perfection and goes really well with the veggies on it.

This is probably my favorite dish. And very filling too. I wanted to get another one sana but just one is enough talaga. I can totally see why it’s perfect for those who wants to lose weight but doesn’t want to starve herself.

This is another favorite. I don’t usually eat pepper. Unless it’s on pizza. But with this one, grabe! It was perfect. Actually, it made the dish a lot better. I tried eating just the tuna but it’s so much better with the pepper. Wow!

Wow! Oh diba? Healthy pizza. And yummy too. Can you imagine? We could eat pizza pala without worrying about the extra calories and the cholesterol.

A piece of this is only 49.5 calories? Would you believe that? It’s the perfect snack!!

I don’t know how much calories this one has. Pero dahil pinalagyan ko ng whipped cream, feeling ko madami. Nyahahaha! But it’s so yummy. Super yummy. So sorry, not!


Overall, it was perfect. I had so much fun. And I realized that it’s fun to do Zumba and Yoga and Aero-G. Dancing is FUN! Plus Yummy Diet just made me realize that I could actually lose weight and not starve myself. I am excited for my 1 week Yummy Diet food delivery. I can’t wait to share with you the results. This is definitely the best way to a healthier me. The best #balikalindog program.

Summary of Review: Imagine eating yummy food without worrying about your waistline after? The best right?!! I always associate healthy food with bland, blah food. And for a foodie like me, that's like nah. But Yummy Diet changed that view. We were served with delicious, healthy and filling food. Yummy Diet just made me realize that I could actually lose weight and not starve myself. I can't wait for my 1 week food delivery from them. Lose weight the healthy way.
