Mummy Finds: Cheap Breastmilk Storage Bottles

When I decided that I want to breastfeed exclusively, one thing I am sure of is the fact that I won't use breastmilk storage bags. Well first, because its not reusable. I don't find it economical. Hindi nga ko gagastos sa milk gagastos naman ako sa milk bags diba? Second is, I am sure that in order for me to be successful in breastfeeding I need to educate not just myself but also the people in the house. I don't know how to deal with the bags. Baka di ko masara ng maayos. Baka matapon. Baka macontaminate. You know. The usual paranoia. So for sure, people here at home won't know how to handle it properly as well.

But my one issue with breastmilk storage bottles are...they are kinda expensive. Avent's storage set costs Php 1700 at the mall, less than a thousand when you buy it on my favorite baby shop Funtastic Shop! They offer the best price I swear. I should know. I follow almost every baby shop on IG. While others cost around 300 per bottle or more.

So my quest for cheaper storage bottle began...

The first one I discovered is BEBETA Storage Bottles.

It costs Php 200 for a pack of 4. Imagine? Just Php 50 for a bottle. It's a 4oz, BPA free, white bottle that comes with a sealing disk. Its a small bottle so its easy to lug around. It's also easy to clean and sterilize. Basically I don't have any issues with it. I got myself 2 packs of these babies from Robinson's Ermita Department Store.

My second discovery is LOONEY TUNES Breastmilk Storage Bottles.

I got this for only Php 220 for a pack of 4. I like this one better because its a 5oz bottle and the sealing disk are thicker. Weird though coz it has a square. My worry is it won't fit my bottle stand but it did. Not a good fit but pwede na. I got mine from Baby Company. I think this one is more sulit. No issues whatsoever and better sealing disk pa. So I'd get more of this next time. :)

O sya! It's the bebe's baptism tomorrow. I need to DIY alot of things pa. Bye for now.

I have that Looney Tunes storage bottle Ate. Sad lang my breastfeeding journey ended when she turned 10months old. Nilagyan ko na ng nipples yung bottle para magamit nya. :)

Oo nga Ate.Kudos to ALL breastfeeding mothers. Ang hirap kaya nung magend na yung milk ko. Suddenly I missed it. Kasi bonding sya talaga between Mother and child. Kaya Ate continue lang your pumping sessions, think of happy thoughts, positive lang lagi to increase your breastmilk supply. Skye is lucky and healthy baby with your milk Nanay. :)

hahahaha! Oo I love Looney Tunes din. :) Sayang nga nauna ko nahanap si Bebeta. I already got 2 sets of Bebeta nung nakita ko si Looney Tunes. I plan to buy another set also. Sayang lang kasi my baby's using Avent bottles kaya nagsasalin padin kami. Pero ang saya nya lang kasi ang ganda talaga ng sealing disk nya. :)
