Mom & Me: Fun Circuit

I was invited to try out the Mom & Me Fun Circuit last November 17 (yeah! An overdue post). The Companion and I brought my god daughter/niece, Amber, with us. When I got the invite via email, I didn’t hesitate and immediately confirmed my attendance.

For those of you who didn’t know, Mom & Me Fun Circuit is an event specially organized for Mommies (Daddies too!) and their kids to have a day full of fun and activities. Para syang field trip pero mas masaya, level up kung baga. What I liked most about this kind of event is that I’d have a chance to linger with other moms. And as a newbie mom, I really wanna talk to fellow mommies. Coz whatever you say, their first-hand experience is really the best way to learn.

Plus Amber would surely have fun playing with the other kids. Her mom is working in Dubai and she’s really a bibo kid but I noticed that she tends to get timid and shy when surrounded with kids she’s not familiar with. And she doesn’t talk at all! Must be because nasanay syang mga bata lang sa amin ang kasama or her lola and Titas. It’s a great way to develop your kid’s inter-personal skills. Promise paglabas ni Peanut, aattend kami ng madaming ganito. I want her to socialize!!! And that’s very important.

Mom & Me Fun Circuit prepares 3 activities for our “field trip”:

1st Stop: Gymboree Play and Music – Amorsolo Building, Rockwell Center Makati

2nd Stop: Happy Bubbler – Rizal Park

3rd Stop: Cackleberries – SM Megamall

They prepared a bus that’ll bring the moms/dads and the kids to those locations. Sabi sa inyo field trip talaga ang peg! Bus pick up area is at Bank Drive Ortigas Center at the back of Megamall A. We we’re there at 11:30 and the bus leaves at exactly 12NN which signals the start of a fun fun day!

1st STOP: GYMBOREE!!!

That’s our little Amber and her Tito Pogi on the way to Gymboree. As you can see, she’s very excited but still a bit shy.
She prefers to play alone at first and won’t mingle with the other kids. She’s also very quiet. But after a couple of minutes, she started to loosen up and played with the other kids na! Iniwan lang kasi namin sya dun. The companion and I sat at the side lang. I don’t feel the need to actually look after her closely coz Gymboree offers a very safe play area.

At Gymboree, the kids had a chance for free play and had fun with Parachute Time! A Gymboree personnel also conducted story-telling and bubble play. I really liked Gymboree Play and Music because of the safe play area and nice/kid-friendly staff. The one who conducted Parachute Time and Story-Telling sesh is really really nice. You could see that she was able to catch the kid’s attention (except my Amber! hahahaha!). It’s so much fun to see kids listening to her as she does her thing. She’s very animated and interacts with the kids very well.
This first activity is a very huge success. And I really really loved it!

2nd STOP: HAPPY BUBBLER!

We went to the Rizal Park open grounds where the kids learned how to blow giant bubble with the bubble expert, Andrew Ang. Though it was a bit hot, the kids still sure had fun. Ayaw na nga tumigil ni Amber sa kakagawa ng bubbles!!! Nakakaloka lang! And Andrew Ang really knows his stuff. He created so many giant and colorful bubbles!!! Oo promise colorful!!!! Look at the pictures! Ang dami ngang nag stop sa area namin na mga namamasyal lang sa Luneta para maki-bubble time.

Though I think medyo off sya. There are kids not part of our group who joined us. The thing is, the kids on our group are 4yrs old and below. May mga kids na naki-join na malalaki na. Around 6 or 7, yung iba older pa ata and they were chasing the bubbles as well. And they are kinda maharot so I was a bit worried. But there are loads of staff from Mom&Me around the area who made sure that the Moms and Kids are safe since Rizal Park is an open area. And although medyo na-off ako na may mga naki join sa amin, I am glad na hindi naman matapobre ang staff ng Mom&Me. They allowed the other kids to join. Kasi syempre diba? Bata yun eh! They just looked after our “flock” and ensure everone’s safety. That for me is very very important.

3RD STOP: CACKLEBERRIES

Our third and final stop is at Cackleberries where kid learned digital education, storytelling and coloring. Cackleberries offer digital education and showed us that we can make use of the latest technologies as a way for the kids to learn. Tutal, in this day and age where iPad is every kid’s bestfriend, a mother should really know how to adjust and maximize the use of those technologies. Sabi nga, if you can’t beat them, join them! My niece sure had fun on the interactive game as she explores Oville. Aside from that, they also offer digital storytelling (with audio-visio effects). And the best part for The Companion and our little Amber is the coloring time!! :)

Aside from all the fun activities, Mom & Me also prepared some loot bags and loads of raffle prizes. Masaya na si baby, masaya pa si Mommy! Promise, their raffle prizes are so nice. I really loved what I got which is the Saladbox which contains an Avon Bra (which Mila immediately got), glutathione lotion, a sample bottle of a men’s musk and a foot lotion which I so love because my heels are starting to crack thanks to this pregnancy. They also gave each of us a huge can of Enercal! Oh diba?! It’s so good huh. I had my father drink it and it serves as his vitamins na. And another thing, they offer Bibibon’s baby biscuits for half the price!!!!

Boiboi has been using Bibibon’s for quite some time now. His pedia advised us that we should add Cerelac or baby biscuits on his Pediasure milk in order for him to gain weight. And in fairness, effective!!! Chubby cheeks na ang baby BoiBoi namin. Kaya nga when I heard na sobrang mura ng Bibibon’s sa kanila, I hoarded like a true-blue shoppingera!! Hahahahaha!!! I got mga around 15 boxes ata. Last na kasi yun. Wala na, naubos ko na kaya yun lang nabili ko. Harhar!

All in all it was such a fun day. And I’m so excited till I can finally bring the little peanut on events such as this. Thanks to Mom&Me for the invite. :)

And oh! Please do like their page on Facebook here and follow them on Twitter here to know more about their future schedules. Promise! You won’t regret it. It’ll be worth your time. The smile you’ll see on your little ones are gonna be priceless!!!

xoxo,

Reigne
